Demon classification

There are many different types of demons or yokai that roam the world of Night Fall with different ranks and classifications the main classification are: scavenger,hunter,stalker,wanderer,infection,celestial/divine, and dormant. Yokai can fall up to two different categories depending on the behavior of the yokai towards humans. The ranking of the yokai depends on how dangerous they are to mortal kind. The ranking system is based on the common 1-10 rating system 1 being not a threat to human and 10 being one that can destroy a civilization.

Scavenger Class Yokai

Scavenger class yokai are basically yokai that feast on already deceased corpses whether fresh weeks as long as either the soul is still around or there is still meat on the bones.Most of these type of yokai don't reach a higher ranking than eight.There will be a link with more information on the yokai, some examples as well as their rank of this class.

Hunter Class Yokai

Hunter class yokai are among the most the most dangerous form of yokai preying on both lesser yokai and human and lost souls. Most of these can reach a ranking of ten, but they are incapable of reaching a ranking of less than four.
